Overview

HiM is a registered charity with a mandate to provide help to children living at risk due to poverty, homelessness, sexual exploitation, Aids, natural disasters and war.

As a Charity we will work to provide homes, education and
training so that these young people have a future that can rebuild their lives and communities. Where necessary we will work in partnership with other organizations and projects in order to help those in need. We are keen to show people how desperate many of our world’s children live and give them the opportunity to join us in working to provide hope and a future in a nation devastated by war and natural disasters.

In Mozambique 70% of the population live in absolute poverty. One in four children don’t live to see their fifth birthday. The population is very young, more than half are under 18 years old.
